Know Your Customer (KYC)
Our Know Your Customer (KYC) service is designed to help you verify the identity of your contacts. By checking tax ID numbers against official government records, you can ensure that the information you collect is accurate and complete.
Step 1: Create a Template
Create a template with your name, logo, and preferences. Select which details you would like to verify, including name, address, tax ID number, and date of birth.
Step 2: Import your Contacts
Import your contacts from your accounting software, CRM, or any other system using a simple CSV file. An optional reference_id column enables you to keep the information in sync with your system.
Step 3: Email Branded Requests
Send branded requests to your contacts to ask them to verify their tax ID numbers. The email will contain a unique link that will take them to a secure page where they can enter their tax ID number and upload documents.
Step 4: Review and Approve Submissions
Once the information is submitted, Tax ID Pro will automatically match details in documentation provided. You have the ability to review and approve it.
