The Kenyan PIN is 11 characters where the first and last characters are letters and the others are numbers. Entity PINs start with letter P and Individual PINs starts with letter A. The PIN is issued by the Kenya Revenue Authority to individuals who have attained the age of 18 years upon application and to entities who have complied with the requirements of the registering organisation upon application. The PIN identifies an individual or entity for purposes of transacting business with KRA, other government agencies and service providers.
